Guide to Ceremonies

Being a leader can be hard. So to make it a little easier, I made this thread. It is simply a list of all the ceremonies and what it is you will be saying. This is made so you don't have to remember from the books what it is they say, or that kind of stuff.

It's really easy. All you have to do is copy, paste, and then insert the name of the cat who is having the ceremony where it says insert name. Easy as cake!

To call just a regular gathering, use this:
Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting.

Example:
Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting.

To call a deputy ceremony, use this:
"I say these words before the body of (previous deputy), so that his/her spirit may hear and approve my choice. (new deputy) will be the new deputy of (Clan name)."

Example:
"I say these words before the body of Thornfoot, so that her spirit may hear and approve my choice. Brightclaw will be the new deputy of ShadowClan."

To call an apprentice ceremony, use this:
"By naming apprentices, we show that (Clan name) will survive and remain strong."
From this moment on, until he/she has earned his/her Warrior Name, this Apprentice will be known as (Apprentice Name)."
" (Mentor's name), you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to (Apprentice's name). (Mentor's name), you have shown yourself to be a warrior of (Virtue #1) and (Virtue #2). I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice."

Example:
"By naming apprentices, we show that ShadowClan will survive and remain strong."
From this moment on, until she has earned her Warrior Name, this Apprentice will be known as Leopardpaw."
Nightfall, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Leopardpaw. Nightfall, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of humility and honor. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice."

To call a warriors ceremony, use this:
(Mentors name), are you satisfied that this apprentice is ready to become a warrior?"
('Yes, he/she is')
"I (Leader name), leader of (clan name) call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn."
(Apprentice name), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
('I do')
"Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice name), from now on, you will be known as (Warrior name). (Clan name) welcomes you as a full warrior."

Example:
Nightfall, are you satisfied that this apprentice is ready to become a warrior?"
('Yes, she is')
"I Crowstar, leader of ShadowClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn."
Leopardpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
('I do')
"Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Leopardpaw, from now on, you will be known as Leopardfang. ShadowClan welcomes you as a full warrior."

To call an elders ceremony, use this:
"(Warrior name), is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go to join the elders? 
('It is')
"Your clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon Starclan to give you many seasons of rest."

Example:
"Nightfall, is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go to join the elders? 
('It is')
"Your clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon Starclan to give you many seasons of rest."

THE FOLLOWING ARE FOR MEDICINE CATS

To preform a Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony, use this: ( note, this must be done at the Moonpool )
"(Apprentice name), is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?
('It is.')
"Then come forward.
Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She/he has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her/him your wisdom and insight so that she/he may understand your ways and heal her/his Clan in accordance with your will. Now touch your nose to the water."

Example:
"Bramblepaw, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?
('It is.')
"Then come forward.
Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. he has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant him your wisdom and insight so that he may understand your ways and heal his Clan in accordance with your will. Now touch your nose to the water."

To preform a Medicine Cat ceremony, use this: ( note, this must also be done at the Moonpool )
"I, (Med. cat), medicine cat of (Clan name), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She/he has trained hard to understand the way of a medicine cat, and with your help, she/he will serve his/her Clan for many moons. (Apprentice name), do you promise to uphold the way of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
('I do.')
"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your true name as a medicine cat. (Apprentice name), from this moment you shall be known as (New med. cat name). StarClan honors your knowledge and certainty, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (Clan)."

Example:
"I, Mintbreeze, medicine cat of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the way of a medicine cat, and with your help, she/he will serve his Clan for many moons. Bramblepaw, do you promise to uphold the way of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
('I do.')
"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Bramblepaw, from this moment you shall be known as Bramblewing. StarClan honors your knowledge and certainty, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of ShadowClan."
