HISTORY ● they say that over a twelve years ago, two cats fell madly in love with each other. in the eyes of the clans, that was roughly one hundred moons. these two cats were applefur and badgerclaw, decendents of the very first warriors to run amuck the territory known as thunderclan. they had seen the last reins of thunderstar, and had witness the rising of owlstar, and they would live long enough to see his death too. but within that time-line they witness their own happiness. two kittens in which had inherited their giantness. to which they named heronkit and rook-kit. ● rook-kit was the only tom, as his sister, heronkit, was the only she-cat. the two, from birth - were close and a tight knit sibling bond that many would think to be bordering a rather obsessive nature. where heronkit would lash at any she-cat that came near her brother, rook-kit would do the same for his sister. ● for their kittenhood was pleasent and gentle with ease, they would find great amazement when; as they stood to be named apprentices, that goldenclaw (later goldenstar) and owlstar were interested in them as apprentice. for as they stood with their new suffix -paw. the two siblings were given to leader and deputy. ● that was when rookpaw met owlstar's daughter, cricketpaw. like so many great tails, the two got on rather well, and to this day many noticed that with cricketpaw, rookpaw was almost obsessed with. 'i love her. we'll be mates one day. i'm sure of it!' he would meow. ● when it came to his training tho; under owlstar, rookpaw was a quick and energetic tom who wanted nothing more then to please his leader. so when the tom was sent out with his leader to hunt along side his sister and new best friend cricketpaw, he proved to be the stronger of the two and was made a warrior at twelve moons. his sister and cricketpaw became warriors two moons later. ● as newly named rookclaw, with his sister heronstrike and his best friend cricket-tail, they made a rather interesting team. always working together to get things done and to work their way through the weeks with humor, passion and a gentle nature. the three, as they said, made an interesting trio. ● but it was the acceptance that heronstrike gave cricket-tail, to be with her brother, that surprised the clan and no sooner had the three turned twenty moons, that cricket-tail became pregnant with rookclaw's kits. overwhelmed with happiness, the warrior of thunderclan couldn't believe his luck. but all happiness comes with a price. ● cricket-tail's and rookclaw's first litter was born in the middle of leaf-bare, five bundles of fur lay still beside cricket-tail, but not a one moved or meowed. for her, the litter had not survived and she had failed. ● broken, the two drifted apart for some time, but it was during that time at thirty moons, that rookclaw was given an apprenticed named tigerpaw. she was a pretty little thing, and for her he trained her long and hard. not giving her a moments break, until six moons later, under owlstar's last moon of life, she was named tigerheart. ● a moon after tigerpaw became tigerheart, rookclaw was shocked into a state of confusion when owlstar passed on and goldenclaw - now goldenstar, named him as deputy of the clan. while many were confused and didn't take to it at first, rookclaw was determined to prove himself. ● it was during his rein as deputy that he and cricket-tail became close once more, and when he was fifty-one moons old he became a father to two healthy young toms that they named lionkit and crowkit. but live is tricky and as the days pass, cricket-tail became ill from an infection and died. leaving her two kits in the care of another cat. tigerheart, rookclaw's former apprentice, was pregnant with her own kits and offered to be the milk-mother. rookclaw, was never more thankful. ● a moon after lionkit and crowkit were born, tigerheart gave birth to her own three kittens. bramblekit, badgerkit and geckokit. but it was those first two moons that led rookclaw to the borders, exploring and throwing himself into his duties. that was when he met 34 moon old goldenfeather of shadowclan. they hit it off rather well and at 59 moons old, rookclaw became the father to two half-clan kits, waspkit and beekit. both of whom do not know who he is, but he knows who they are. ● his sons, lionpaw and crowpaw - both seven moons old at the birth of their half-siblings, were shocked and over joyed by their father's soon to come assend to leadership. but it was known that he was given another apprentice, his former apprentice's eldest daughter- bramblepaw. ● under his fur, she got, and as they trained, young bramblepaw was gentle and forceful, taunting and tainting rookclaw to the point that at 11 moons of age, bramblepaw fell pregant with rookclaw's kits. but it did not mean a thing, she loved him and he adored her. goldenstar, passed away not a moon later. ● to bramblepaw - now recently named brambleflower, bore one kitten - wrenkit and for the next eight moons, the two - rookstar and brambleflower, kept trying for more. rookstar wanted kits, to be a father and give brambleflower that daughter she wanted. ● nine moons ago, tigerheart died of greencough, prompting brambleflower to name her daughter two moons later, tigerpaw in honor of her mother. ● now rookstar has been leader for 14 moons and has been alive for eighty-three moons.
